Romeo, Romeo, wherefore art thou Romeo?

Updated: Oct 5, 2019

And then one day, I decided to test the process out on another horse. This time, a little orphan colt named Romeo. He was one of 'The Three Amigos' just brought to the rescue.

Being the little rascal of the bunch, he was the only one awake. As I began reading to him, I noticed his energy relax.

His beautiful innocent eyes absorbing every detail and listening to every word I read.

When I got to a page with a bunny surrounded by daisies, he appeared transfixed. He fussed when I tried to turn the page!

When the story ended, I noticed he had fallen asleep. At that moment, he reminded me of a child after a bedtime story.

That night, I couldn't help but wonder if he was dreaming of his mother in a pasture surrounded by daisies.

"Gotta story?"

'The Three Amigos' upon arrival

"Now you're on the right page!"

"Daisies in a field spin round and round, turn up a frown."
